Scope

This task force is focused on :

1. HOSTING GLOBAL EVENTS in INDIA:
  a.Attract atleast 5% of the large number of 5G events across the world to India.
  b.Intl tradeshows with 100s of vendors from outside and inside India to show case projects and solutions
  c.Research Conferences & Global SDO events (IEEE, IETF, ITU, 3GPP, oneM2M etc.)

2. INDIA CENTERED EVENTS:
  a. 5G India 2020 Forum driven event:
    i. Driven by the Task Force involving all Stake holders of Forum.
    ii.Travelling to different locations.
  b.Leveraging existing events in India to publicise activities of 5G India 2020 Forum
    i.Partnerships at Vertical Industry events - Dedicated sessions, speaker slots, panelists
    ii. Leverage IEEE events and community

3. ONLINE ACTIVITIES and EVENTS:
  a.Webinars, online tutorials, MOOCs
  b.Web portal, e-magazine, online community

4. SKILL DEVELOPMENT:
  a. Skills creation for 5G technologies (e.g. mMTC/ mIOT)
  b.Curriculum/ hands-on trainings in new technologies eg -AI, Cyber Security, M/C learning etc.


Objective

1. Mobilisation of the ecosystem (Industry, Academia and Government) to align with the 5G India 2020 Vision.

2. Drive hosting of, participation and contributions at Global, Local, Partnership and on-line events (conferences, tradeshows, product showcases, workshops , seminars, SDO meetings, webinars, online tutorials etc.)

3. Skilling 5G enabled, world class work force for deployment, manufacturing, development & Innovation.
